We got to Cierva cove that evening. At 9:00p we went on another Zodiac
tour. I couldn't take any pictures because it was too dark. It wasn't
too dark to see... in fact in never really got dark enough to see any
stars. Lights helped a lot, but you didn't need them.
The water was exceptionally placid. We tried to track some more minke whales
and spent some time waking up more leopard seals on the flat icebergs.
The icebergs here were gigantic, too. One of them was the size of a
4-story office building. Another had a canyon carved through it -- too
bad it wasn't safe to go through it and see where the canyon went.
Our driver brought some hot chocolate for the trip, which was definitely
appreciated by all.
