Marsupials

Australia is famous for marsupials. Some of the ones we saw were nocturnal, such as the pademelon and possum. So we didn't get good enough pictures to display.
We saw this male eastern grey kangaroo when we stopped the car to look at his mate on the other side of the road on the way back from O'Reilly's. story
Awwww!!! We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw this female eastern grey kangaroo with a joey in her pouch. She paused to pose just long enough for 3 quick pictures. story
Wallabies visited us in the morning for breakfast at the Tinaroo Lodge in the Atherton Tablelands. We even saw two of them boxing! Wallabies are about half the size of kangaroos. story
