When we saw this black skink, we thought it was a thick snake. We tried to carefully walk around it on the path, but it ran away! story

Cane toads were a species introduced to kill the cane beetle, an insect that was ravaging the sugar cane crops. Problem is, nothing wants to eat the cane toad. story
We saw a pair of loggerhead sea turtles in the snorkeling area off the beach of Green Island. They came up for a breath about once every 2-3 minutes. The snorkelers really enjoyed trying to keep up with them. story
