The Sacred Way is part of the Ming Tombs complex. It is a long, straight path flanked by statues first of ancient government officials and then by animals. The Sacred Way ends at a pavilion sheltering a stone tablet.

See if you can make any sense on what this sign is trying to say in English. But take a look at the map and notice that we start at the bottom (like all maps at Beijing tourist sites. Weird) and follow a straight path through the gauntlet of statues. The first half of statues are the officials, and the second half are the animals. The Sacred Way ends and a pavilion protecting a very large stone tablet. The Sacred Way is part of the Ming Tombs complex
