From the top of Mt Rigi just outside of Lucerne, Switzerland you can see forever. Well, almost forever. Lake Zug is prominent at the base of the mountain looking north. Uncountable small villages spread over the entire distance. And it looks like it could be perpetually green here.\n\nTo get to the top of Mt Rigi, take the train to Lucerne. Take a boat across Lake Lucerne to Vitzau. Then take a fun cog train ride to the top of the mountain. Definitely worth the trip!
