You can find a genuine Saturn 1B rocket lying on its side in the Rocket Garden at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This rocket was used for lunar test flights and a manned Apollo 7 launch. In front of it you can see the orange scaffold that astronauts used to get into the Apollo spacecraft. You can walk it, too, but you have to imagine that you are ten stories high getting into the 2nd-loudest thing ever made by man to get shot out into space. The catwalk ends at a mock-up Apollo capsule which is tinier than you might think. For more information visit my Kennedy Space Center section.
